Welcome back to Audio Groover! For my 11th show, I am stepping into a higher gear with my Disco Fever House Mix—a full dive into the funkier, soul-infused side of house music.
This selection was heavily curated to capture pure energy, rolling basslines, and infectious disco chops. From peak-time disco heat to subtle vocal play, this set represents some of my favorite musical discoveries lately.
🎧 Highlights to Listen For:
- The Seamless Vocal Swap (Track 6 into Track 7): Keep your ears open during the transition out of the Purple Disco Machine remix of On My Mind into Nounabeats’ Needed You. I introduced the incoming vocal and wove it back and forth with the playing track before taking over the mix completely—creating one of my favorite transition moments in the set.
- The Soft Vocal Palette Cleanser: Deep into the mix, you’ll hear How Long by No oN and Rosin Taylor (Track 14). While it’s a softer, more emotional cut than the surrounding disco slammers, the vocal was just too beautiful to leave out. It offers a great moment to breathe before closing out the session.
