Right from the start, “Rhythm Shift (Dream State)” grabs you with a pulsating, upbeat rhythm and truly thumping beats. It’s the kind of energy designed to get you moving—perfect for your workout playlist or driving on the open road.
But the real magic happens right in the middle. We decided to take a sharp turn from the electronic intensity, guiding the listener into a dreamy, ethereal space with a beautiful, stripped-back piano rift. It’s that moment of sudden calm, like finding a tranquil oasis in the middle of a bustling city. This contrast is what defines the piece, hence the title!
Behind the Sound
The inspiration for this track came from those hazy, energised mornings; where you feel both ready to tackle the day yet still partially lost in a dreamy state. I aimed to capture that feeling of a mood changing abruptly, proving that a track can be both a club banger and a moment of quiet reflection.
