New Mix: Stay Connected 🎚️
I’m thrilled to share my latest project with you all: Stay Connected.
This isn’t your standard track-to-track transition. For this mix, I wanted to explore the art of layering. You’ll rarely hear a single track playing in isolation; instead, I’ve woven multiple sounds together to create a continuous, evolving soundscape. It’s dense, textured, and designed to keep you locked in from start to finish.
The Concept
The title and the vibe are anchored by a nostalgic sound we all know—the classic modem handshake. In an age where we are constantly online, I wanted to use that “connecting” signal as a rhythmic and thematic bridge throughout the journey. It’s a reminder of how we interact with music and each other in the digital space.
Behind the Scenes
Technically, this was a fun challenge in gain staging. By keeping the source files well away from the red and being surgical with the limiters, I was able to stack layers without losing the punch or clarity of the individual tracks. The result is a mix that feels “big” without ever feeling distorted.
